nm. vèrbo (Albanais).-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Les verbes savoyards comportent sept modes: indicatif (ind.), conditionnel (cond.), subjonctif (subj.), impératif (ip.), infinitif (inf.), participe (ppr., pp.), adjectif verbal (av. du ppr. et du pp.). Le passé simple (ps.) n'est plus employé actuellement, même si on en trouve quelques traces dans les textes anciens: il est remplacé par le passé composé (pc.). Le passé antérieur (pa.) est inexistant, il est remplacé par le passé surcomposé (psu.). - E.: Imparfait, Participe, Pronominal. Le futur de l'indicatifs est parfois remplacé par l'indicatif présent suivi de "puis" (Peisey.187, St-Martin-Porte.203): dze drouvo pwi < j'utiliserai> (187), voz âmâ pwè < vous aimerez> (203). Le sujet de la 1ère personne du sing. est souvent omis ou sous-entendu (Macôt, Saxel). Pour les verbes qui comportent le préfixe ar / r(e) / ré voir RE- / RÉ-. Les verbes savoyards se répartissent en quatre groupes. 1) (1er gv. / gv.1) Les verbes du 1er groupe ont une finale est -â (Albanais, Albertville, Alex, Annecy.003, Annemasse, Arvillard, Beaufort, Bozel, Brison-St- Innocent, Chambéry, Chapelle-St-Maurice, Frangy, Gruffy, Leschaux, Massongy, Moûtiers, Quintal, Samoëns, St-Germain-Ta., St-Jean-Maurienne.069, St-Paul- Chablais.079, Taninges, Thônes, Villard-Doron) / -â prononcé -oo (003,079, Balme- Si., Juvigny, Marthod, Montagny-Bozel, St-Jorioz, Saxel, Sevrier, Thonon) ou -ô (079) / -âr (Ste-Foy) / -êr (069, Montricher). Ces verbes correspondent en général aux verbes français en -er. Ils viennent du latin -are. La plupart de ceux qui sont terminés par une consonne palatale font partie du 2e groupe (2e gv.). Dans ce 1er groupe on distingue ; 1.1) des verbes réguliers sans modification de voyelle, sur le modèle ÂMÂ < aimer> (Albanais.001): 1.2) des verbes avec modification de la dernière voyelle du radical lorsque celle-ci devient tonique. Cette modification se produit uniquement à l'indicatif présent (aux trois personnes du singulier et à la 3e personne du pluriel) et à l'impératif présent (2e personne du singulier). Nous ne notons que les temps et modes qui subissent une modification par rapport à âmâ < aimer>. Ce changement de voyelle est noté ainsi, par exemple pour GARDER: GARDER vt. GARDÂ, C. d' / zhe verbe gârdo < je garde> (Albanais.001 / Saxel.2). 1.2.1) le a devient ê: sur le modèle de zharnâ < germer> (001). 1.2.2) le a devient â: sur le modèle de gardâ < garder> (1,2). 1.2.3) le è devient é: m(è)nâ < mener> (001). 1.2.4) le è devient i: l(è)vâ < lever> (001). 1.2.5) le o devient eu: plyorâ < pleurer> (001). - Ind. prés.: d'plyeuro, t'plyeure, é plyeure, no plyorin, vo plyorâ, é plyeuron (001). 1.2.6) le o devient eû: portâ < porter> (Albanais.001, Saxel.2). - Ind. prés.: d'peûrto, t'peûrte, é peûrte, no portin, vo portâ, é peûrton (001) ; zhe peûrto, te peûrte, é peûrte, vo portâ, i peûrtan (002). On conjugue sur ce modèle: akostâ < accoster>, arozâ < arroser>, atofâ < étouffer>, dyofâ < écraser>, flyotâ < flotter>, glyofâ < se goinfrer>, kabossâ < faire une bosse>, krotâ < faire sa crotte>, plyotâ < caresser> (001). Ces verbes sont issus de l'afr. -ier, fr. -er. On les trouve avec les terminaisons -jî, -chî, -yî, -lyî, -nyî, -fî (issu de -ssî), -ssî, -zî, -shî, -zhî (001), mais il y a des exceptions). Dans les cantons où ce -î du gv.2 devient -é, les -i des gv.3 et gv.4 restent -i. COD., SAX. et COR. à sa suite, n'ont pas jugé bon de faire ressortir l'allongement du i à l'infinitif, mais, pour tenir compte de la véritable prononciation et pour faciliter la conjugaison de ce groupe, nous l'avons rétabli. Ces verbes diffèrent du verbe âmâ à l'infinitif, à l'indicatif présent (2e p. pl.), à l'imparfait (3e p. sing.), à l'impératif présent (2e p. pl.) et au participe passé. Les formes non mentionnées se conjuguent sur le modèle de âmâ < aimer>. Là aussi nous rencontrons: 2.1) des verbes réguliers sans modification de la dernière voyelle du radical lorsque celle-ci devient tonique et sans modification de la dernière consonne du participe passé. On trouve dans cette catégorie les verbes en -jî, -chî / -ché, -yî / -yé, -lyî / - lyé, -nyî (modèle: TRAVAILLER). Mais les verbes en -(l)yî peuvent subir des contractions à l'indicatif futur et au conditionnel présent sur le modèle de balyî < donner> (voir chacun de ces verbes). Au pp., nous avons les finales en -à m., -à fs., -è pl. (Albanais, Albertville.BRA, Annecy, Chambéry, Gets, Giettaz, Thônes, Villards-Thônes), ou -à m., -à fs., -eu pl. (Cordon, Saxel). 2.2) des verbes réguliers sans modification de la dernière voyelle du radical lorsque celle-ci devient tonique et sans modification de la dernière consonne du participe passé, mais avec introduction d'un y entre le radical et la désinence du participe passé. Ces verbes se conjuguent sur le modèle de trafî < tracer> (001), pp. trafyà, -à, -è (001). On trouve dans cette catégorie les verbes en -fî et en -shî (issus de -ssî). 2.3) des verbes sans modification de la dernière voyelle du radical lorsque celle-ci devient tonique, mais avec modification de la dernière consonne du participe passé. 2.3.1) les verbes en -ssî apv., -sî apc. (Albanais), -ché (Aix, Arvillard, Chambéry), correspondant souvent au fr. -sser apv. ou -ser apc..
